VIDEO: Minneapolis Officer Recovering After Burglary Call Shooting

A Minneapolis officer who was shot in the shoulder during a burglary call early Saturday is expected to fully recover and a suspect is in custody.

Officer Jordan Davis was shot in the shoulder just before 5 a.m. after two officers had finished clearing the scene of a burglary call on the 1100 block of 24th Avenue North.

Davis has been released from North Memorial Medical Center and is recovering at home.

Assistant Chief Matt Clark told KSTP TV police arrested 43-year-old Andrew Neal Saturday afternoon in connection with the shooting. Neal reportedly has a long criminal history, and had just been released from prison.

The media conveniently forgot to mention that Andrew Neal is a long term gang member with a lengthy rap sheet but more importantly, the gang is known to endorse radical Islam and their call to ambush/attack police for jihad. So why the media forgets to add these descriptors of the perp is interesting? So we don't offend the peace loving Muslims that refuse to stand up and denounce radical Islam?
