NYPD Beefs Up Security After Credible Threats from Baltimore Gang

The NYPD confirmed Wednesday that a notorious Baltimore-based gang made violent threats against two Brooklyn police precincts.

“We’re going to remain vigilant and investigate the origin of the threat as well as adjust the security measures accordingly,” a police spokesman told the New York Daily News.

Emergency Service Unit officers were already at the precincts Tuesday night after an informant passed the threat from the Black Guerrilla Family along to the NYPD.

Officers Wenjian Liu, 32, and Rafael Ramos, 40, were assassinated Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn by a career criminal on a sick mission to kill city cops.
