VIDEO: 3 Chicago Officers Seriously Injured in Squad Car Crash

Three Chicago police officers were seriously hurt when their marked squad car was hit by another car in the Gresham neighborhood, according to police and witnesses. A passenger in the other car was also injured in the crash, which occurred about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

The three police officers were all in serious condition but "were doing very well," a police source told the Chicago Tribune. One officer had a head injury. The passenger was also listed in serious condition.

A firefighter was also hospitalized after being injured while removing the officers from the car, according to fire officials. The firefighter was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in fair-to-serious condition and was treated and released.

I know that Chicago is very dangerous to police, but 3 in one marked car? Glad they are OK

Pretty sad when you have someone who's about as useful as a used enema bag ( i.e. fake kevCopAz), hijacking other user names to post dumba$$ comments. On a more serious note, hope the injured officers get well soon.

Please disregard the 2ed post, I have no idea who that is coming from! Some nameless ball less jerk who thinks theta funny.

Thanks Old VA lawdog, I have no use for pukes like that! Have no idea who that fool is but he/she sows their lack of character and guts by using another name other then their own.
