VIDEO: Protesters Holding 130 Ferguson Demonstrations Across USA, Canada

Hours after protests over the grand jury decision in Michael Brown's death rocked Ferguson, Mo., people across the country took to the streets to voice their anger again Tuesday, reports CNN.

In Washington, protesters lay down on a sidewalk outside police headquarters as if dead, according to a tweet by Nikki Burdine, a reporter for CNN affiliate WUSA. Some had handwritten notes on their chests: "Black lives matter." The protest was similar to one Monday night outside the White House.

In Chicago, a few dozen protesters gathered Tuesday morning on a downtown street corner ahead of another protest at City Hall, CNN affiliates WGN reported. About 200 members of the Black Youth Project staged a sit-in outside Mayor Rahm Emanuel's office Tuesday afternoon. They plan to be there for 28 hours.

As of midday, more than 130 protests had either occurred or were planned for Tuesday in 37 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Canada, according to information compiled by CNN from organizers, media reports, social media and a site set up to help organize protest efforts.

I'm afraid that some time in the future we will have yet another foolish riot for no good cause other than to steal and act stupid for the cameras but it will be met by vigilantes who are tired of the temped response by the politicians that be. That scares me.

contains a comment, too long for keystrokes allowed here... some excerpts.

If President Obama and AG Eric Holder actually condemn racial discrimination, then they need to prosecute, Al Sharpton, Michael Brown's Parents and many of the Black Rioters and looters for engaging in premeditated racial discrimination against non-black store owners. These people are caught on videos for months (premeditation) stating they will engage in harassment, boycotting, more recently advocating looting and burning down the stores of non-black store owners.

These racist discrimination slurs were premeditated, violence, threats, and destruction of property are all recorded on video. When will President Obama and AG Eric Holder file criminal charges against Al Sharpton, and Michael Brown's Parents for racial discrimination, premeditated, organized destruction of property and making threats against non-white store owners in Ferguson?

Nice post plato. They won't do it though, cause it's not in their best interest. Instead they will throw the blame on law enforcement. That's the easy way out. Brown was a p.o.s. and he got what he deserved!!!!

@Mitch,
It's not vigilantism when people come together to protect their neighborhoods. We saw this back with the LA riots. Entire neighborhoods were blocked off by armed residents. No one came in, not even the cops. Several officers expressed gratitude for the residents taking charge. It was one less thing to worry about.

The thing is, rioters/looters are opportunistic. When faced with a heavily armed adversary, they typically move on to an easier target. So no, it's not vigilantes you'll have to worry about.

@Bill
I worked those riots (LASO SCV station) . I was talking more of outsiders coming to fight the rioters and not local citizens and business owners trying to protect their property. I would not call anyone who is protecting their property a vigilante.
