VIDEO: Ferguson Erupts in Riots, Burning, Looting

A grand jury decision not to indict Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown is over and done with. But anger over that decision is not, nor is the prospect of more arson, more looting, or more violence -- actions that have already rattled the eastern Missouri city, reports CNN.

Activists are set to rally Tuesday in more than 115 cities in the United States, speaking out in support of Brown's family and accusations about police violence and racial injustice -- rooted in the fact that Brown was black and Wilson is white. And their calls will likely be loudest in and around Ferguson, a city unknown to many worldwide more than three months ago, but which is now ground zero in this debate.

"What we saw tonight was much worse than what we saw any night in August," the St. Louis County police said on Facebook, referring to the days immediately after Brown's death. "Bricks were thrown at police officers, two St. Louis County police cars were set on fire and police seized an automatic weapon."

Authorities responded with round after round of tear gas, as well as shooting bean bags into the crowds. There were no known serious injuries.

Police in Ferguson made at least 61 arrests on charges ranging from unlawful assembly to burglary to unlawful possession of a firearm to arson.

The Lt Gov had a good question for the Gov of Missouri-was there political pressure from Obama/Holder administration to not send the national guard to Ferguson? Apparently, the Mayor of Ferguson, in desperate need of help, couldn't get the Gov to send in the troops as the Gov was apparently unavailable. How many weeks did they have to prepare for this eventuality! I suspect the Gov was unavailable on purpose as there was no intention of sending in the troops.

Funny (Not) Reporting comments after the decision not to prosecute. One idiot reporter asked if there were any laws that protected black people. Another said it was racist for police to put on riot gear and try to stop the riots because they have a right to express themselves and the last one asked Sharpton if he thought it was wrong that the police are not trying to stop the riots. Holy Crap. The only thing I worry about is the safety of the police out there. Keep the police safe and back off and let the protesters live in what they did.

Gotta agree with all of the above. A lot of the blame can be put on obama and holder. Both of these idiots don't know what the hell they are doing.

They know what they are doing. They know exactly what they are doing.

Michael Brown was a thug. He was going to kill an innocent person soon enough...the officer needed to protect himself...Michael's death probably saved an innocent person later. he was a thug. good riddance.

I personally think that white and black people were getting along just fine until idiot Obama, became president. All Obama, is doing is making life worst for the decent black people.

No mention anywhere of the felonies and misdemeanors committed by Mr. Brown minutes prior to him being shot after attempting to commit a second felonious assault on Officer Wilson.
