VIDEO: Suburban Chicago Officers Shoot, Kill Man in ER

Dramatic surveillance video has been released in the armed confrontation at a north suburban Chicago hospital in which police shot and killed a man who was threatening staff members with a gun.

Chris Anderson and his 9-year-old daughter Alaysia were taken to NorthShore Highland Park Hospital with minor injuries after a car they were passengers in was in an accident on the Edens November 2, WGN TV reports.

Two hours after arriving at the hospital, staff members say they were trying to get Anderson to change into a hospital gown when he became agitated. His daughter was being assessed for a head wound they say, and he wasn’t happy with the care they were getting. Anderson became loud and abusive, then pulled a handgun from his waistband.

Four officers were on the scene within a few minutes and another surveillance camera shows them surrounding the room Anderson was in, still brandishing the gun. For nearly a minute, witnesses say, police told him over and over to drop it. He wouldn’t.

Investigators would later learn Anderson's handgun had been reported stolen. And they say Anderson had a long criminal history. At the time of his death, he was a suspect in a hit and run with convictions for aggravated battery, resisting a police officer, and burglary along with a 2010 conviction for escaping from the Lake County Jail.

If Anderson was NOT Black, all is well. If Anderson is Black, pray that the Ferguson Nit Wits do not hear about it, or Rev. Al and Jesse will show up fore a "peaceful vigil" while throngs of interlopers from elsewhere will loot and rampage indiscriminately. Photos of Anderson will be displayed from his pre-pubescent years so as to make him look as young and innocent as were similar photos of Michael Brown---poor 250 pound baby who does strong arm robbery of cigars in order to use the inner portions for drugging. Shh... that is a secret.

It saddens me to see the remark made by Leonard Mather. Some just won't leave race out of it. Only perpetuates the problem.

That is the vid. Even after the video, the family still has questions.

"They just killed him, they murdered him, he didn't deserve that."

They believe the police are lying to them.

Leonard Mather, you called it.

[email protected] that's what everybody is thinking though. It was my first thought and I have no idea what anyone's race is.
