VIDEO:California Vehicle Pursuit Charges Across Golf Course, Suspect Killed

A police pursuit Tuesday through a Corona, Calif., golf course ended in an officer-involved shooting in Perris.

The suspect, driving a minivan, took authorities through Eagle Glen Golf Club, leaving tire tracks across the turf. Cellphone video shows the vehicle barreling across the green during the pursuit, which ended at 500 block of Palma Bonita Lane in Perris, where the suspect was shot and killed by Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies told CBS Los Angeles the suspect was wanted after using a stolen credit card at a Home Depot in Corona.

Tearing up a golf course is akin the destroying a church to Police Officers since so many officers spend their Sunday's golfing.

Did anyone check to see if thr golf course field is ok? Wow, get 10 groundskeepers thete to give the lawn 1st aid stat. Almost lost the lawn thete. Oh excellent work to the deps who shot this worthless criminal. Glad the deps are ok.
