Mesquite, Texas, police said they arrested a man who stabbed two police officers at Eastfield College Monday.

According to the Mesquite Police Department, 22-Year-Old Miguel Sarinana was found in an unused classroom of the C building by an Eastfield College police officer during a routine check at 9:47 p.m. Sarinana attacked and stabbed the officer several times after the officer tried to interview him.

Officials told that a second officer went to assist and was also stabbed several times. After stabbing both, Sarinana ran into a neighborhood east of the campus.

"The first officer, after he was cut multiple times, chased the suspect across the parking lot and into the adjoining neighborhood," Mesquite Police Department spokesman Brian Parrish said. "He was literally holding his wounds while looking for the suspect."

This is why the police should shoot anyone attempting to resist or attack who are with 15-20 feet. No one gets paid to be cut up by some derained fool, probably another illegal. Of course the liberal bleeding hearts will condemn them, but better tried by twelve than carried by six!

I can understand the 1st Officer having the jump put upon him, but the 2nd? If I was ever called to a 12-99 with weapon involved I had my weapon at ready. And it was used when & if needed. Can't Monday Morning QB but I'm seeing and hearing about to much hesitation these days. That's what happens when L.E.O's. have to have the Fergusons of life in the back of their heads.

Perhaps they are not allowed to carry weapons. There are a lot of campuses that do not permit their officers to have anything more than pepper spray or a baton.

I hope your right about them not being able to carry weapons. There's no other excuse for that guy to be still living today!

All, had the privilege of attending an all-day seminar presented by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman in Atlanta, GA earlier this year. He is a very awesome and powerful speaker, and had the full attention of 800 to 1000 LEO's in attendance. Two things he said that stuck in my mind. 1. America is now growing the most violent Killer Kids in the history of America. 2. The game, Grand Theft Auto 5 made more in sales then all of Hollywood made in 2013. So, they're playing and practicing everyday on how to kill LEO's. Stay Alert, Stay Safe, Stay Alive Big Blue. God Bless each and everyone of you.

Maybe it is that Obama and Holder have to many of us second guessing the tactics that we use. It is possible that some Officers are not wanting to engage suspects with the correct amount of force at the start of a contact with a suspect. To many times have officers been called into question for doing the right thing so now some are not sure what to do. Brothers please stay safe and use the training that you have received. If you are right in what you do then Holder and Obama can go piss up a rope, you stayed alive for your family. Second guessing will get you hurt or killed.
