Cop Killer Suspect Eric Frein in Custody in Pennsylvania

October 30, 2014  |

VIDEO: Cop Killer Suspect Eric Frein Captured

After nearly seven weeks on the run, suspected cop killer Eric Matthew Frein is in custody, Pennsylvania State Police spokeswoman Connie Devens said Thursday, reports CNN.

"I can confirm that we have taken Eric Frein into custody. Further information will be released at a later time. No further information will be released or confirmed at this time," she said in an email to reporters.

Frein, 31, is suspected in the September 12 ambush shooting that left Cpl. Bryon Dickson dead and Trooper Alex T. Douglass wounded outside the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Blooming Grove.

The FBI had named him one of its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives.

Good!!!!!
Too bad he was taken alive.
Now he'll get a Courtroom stage to spout his anti Police BS....

ssc1911 @ 10/30/2014 5:54 PM

Great Job to all law enforcement agencies involved in capturing this scum.

Joe the Schmoe @ 10/30/2014 8:25 PM

Mother Nature captured this clown ? Are you cold FREIN yeeeeeessssss!LOL

CSPowell @ 10/30/2014 9:16 PM

Great Job L.E., Thanks for your hard work to bring this suspect in, now if the Court will do it's job to look at the crime and not some gobbly-gook why society caused this young man to do what he is accused of. If convicted of this heinous crime then life should be over but that will be left up to a jury of his peers. Again 5 GOLD STARS and TWO THUMBS UP for the Officers that captured this person. RIP for the Trooper that gave his life and a speedy recovery for the other Trooper. God Bless All in Law Enforcement!

Just like Billy Burkhart-Park County, Colorado 1995. They can run, try to hide, but they'll catch you every time. All thuggetts need to remember that. L.E.O's. never give up. They may retire and/or die but their Oath Keepers keep up the tradition. X-Cell-Ant job done Pennsylvania State Police & officers who assisted.

TERRY @ 10/30/2014 10:05 PM

I believe he was tired of running and realized he could not get away. In my heart I had hoped he would resist with deadly force so we could respond in kind and we would not have to go through a trial and having to pay for him the rest of his life. Go DA all the way to the death penalty

Good Job Guys! Another POS the taxpayers will end up footing the bill for the next 50 years. He deserves a .40 cal. injection.

steve @ 10/31/2014 6:45 AM

Good to see law enforcement come out on top for a change! I hope that the judicial system in PA. doesn't drop the ball on this one. This one definitely warrants the death penalty! Sadly some "piece of crap" defense attorney will have him portrayed as a poor pitiful misguided mistreated little boy before it's over with. Those officer's colleagues and families should not have to hear all that malarkey! Thank you PA State Police and all other LE that were involved in this capture, for your persistence!!

Gymrat @ 10/31/2014 7:43 AM

Great job fellas!! True professionals. Saw that the POS had a nice gash across the bridge of his beak. Now it's time for mom and dad to pay the piper. Hoping the judge can shut down most if not all the garbage that will be spouted off by his state funded attorneys. Awesome job Penn. Law Enforcement community. Stay Safe L.E.O.'s!!

BlueBlood @ 10/31/2014 12:03 PM

Great job done by all. I just wish he would have wanted to die as; "Suicide By Police" .....Would have saved the taxpayers a lot of money.

Ron @ 11/1/2014 1:28 PM

Personally, I prefer every moring he awakens still locked up and peering thru the bars. If he is such a free spirited woodsman, this will be torture for him. Dying quickly is too good for him.
