Official Brown Autopsy Supports Officer Wilson's Testimony

October 23, 2014  |

The official autopsy on Michael Brown shows that he was shot in the hand at close range, according to an analysis of the findings by two experts not involved directly in the case.

The accompanying toxicology report shows he had been using marijuana, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Those documents, prepared by the St. Louis County medical examiner and obtained by the Post-Dispatch, provide the most detailed description to date of the wounds Brown sustained in a confrontation Aug. 9 with Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson.

A source with knowledge of Wilson’s statements said the officer had told investigators that Brown had struggled for Wilson’s pistol inside a police SUV and that Wilson had fired the gun twice, hitting Brown once in the hand. Later, Wilson fired additional shots that killed Brown and ignited a national controversy.

The St. Louis medical examiner, Dr. Michael Graham, who is not part of the official investigation, reviewed the autopsy report for the newspaper. He said Tuesday that it “does support that there was a significant altercation at the car.”

Nice to see that the truth comes out. Get your head out of your ass Sharpton and Jackson.

Tom Ret @ 10/23/2014 5:23 PM

Watch for comments from the thug apologists that Brown was shot merely for shoplifting and j walking. I can't see Sharpton telling the same people he was
revving up to riot, woops, I guess I was wrong on that one.

Officer Wilson has been put through so much crap he'll never be able to continue and/or finish a career in Law Enforcement. You race baiters got your wish. Now you Ferguson & Missouri scabs can move on to your next target. Hope Officer Wilson gets through the rest of this without being traumatized any worse than he already has.

Concerned Citizen @ 10/23/2014 6:51 PM

I hope Officer Wilson takes the Riverfront Times to court, for slander. They imply that if you support him you are some how racist. No facts. There is proof of Brown's character strong arm robbery, and walking in the middle of a street? To do what start fights? I'm just as angry at the Media as the Race Baiters who work hand-in-hand together. One day one of those Liberal Bootlickers will have their own children killed by a Thug like Brown. Them and the people in the WH have blood on their hands. I couldn't live with the guilt, but there are degenerates in this world that do. Till their children are killed by thugs, it won't matter to them. The Media should be put on trial for flaming the fire of hate and helping to create riots without all the facts. Also you're not unarmed if you use your arms as WEAPONS!

Capt. Crunch @ 10/23/2014 7:01 PM

Brown, that fat POS coward I hope burns in hell.

Nightstalker @ 10/23/2014 9:28 PM

This entire matter is really wrong, its like washington wants to turn on law-enforcment and im in a unit/task force going after the drug cartels but its like a losing battle . stay safe L.E.O.

Cash @ 10/24/2014 4:46 PM

God held us all! What in the world are we fighting for? How do we fight evil and our own politicians at the same time?

Ima Leprechaun @ 10/24/2014 4:51 PM

There is no doubt the political machine in Ferguson is attempting to make Officer Wilson the scapegoat. In all truth, Mr Brown was a thug and a criminal and he sealed his own fate by attacking a Police Officer that simply asked him not to walk in the street. Hardly provocation for the violent beating Mr Brown gave to Officer Wilson. There is no doubt Officer Wilson was in fear for his life and had every right to defend himself from such a hideous unprovoked attack.
