VIDEO: $50k Reward Offered for Killer of Pa. State Trooper

Pennsylvania State Police have provided their first update in the deadly Pennsylvania barracks ambush investigation since 2:30 p.m. Saturday, reports WNEP.

Authorities told reporters on Sunday evening that they are receiving a large number of leads, all of which are being followed up. Some are fantastic and some dead ends. The reward for information about the killer of a Pennsylvania state troooper has been increased up to $50,000. This increase is from donations from the community members, Pa. crime stoppers, and other organizations. The preferred Tip Line is 1-866-326-7256.

In a formal statement to media, authorities said, "We are currently utilizing several traffic checkpoints located throughout the Blooming Grove patrol area. We hope to maintain a stronger than normal police presence to possibly gain useful information and also to provide the community with some sense of comfort."

The statement went on to say, "Tpr. Alex T Douglass is currently conscious and talking for the first time post-surgery. We hope to interview him and see if he can provide any information on the incident."

Alex, you are simply the best! I am so disappointed in the hate that America has evidenced. You are so very handsome and to put your life on the line for people such as myself is beyond comprehension. May you heal rapidly and know that people across the country support you and your comrades.
