VIDEO: Kentucky Deputy Shoots Driver Backing Into Him

Police say a Muhlenberg County (Ky.) Sheriff's Deputy was involved in a shooting when he tried to make a traffic stop in the parking lot of O'Reilly Auto Parts in Central City.

Investigators said the driver of the pulled over vehicle put his car in reverse when the deputy got out of his car, trying to pin him. Kentucky State Police said the deputy fired his gun hitting the driver multiple times.

A woman in the car was also taken to the hospital for glass cuts but has been released. The condition of the driver hasn't been released.

The deputy is said to be in good condition.
