Woman, Children in a Mistaken Felony Stop by Texas Police

VIDEO: Woman, Children in a Mistaken Felony Stop by Texas Police

Dash cam video shows a young mother being pulled over at gun point by police in Forney, Texas, all while her four little kids were in the car. Police admit they made a mistake.

The traffic stop was in response to a 911 caller who had told dispatch four black men were waving a gun out the window of a beige- or tan-colored Toyota.

The police department defends the traffic stop saying the officers responded appropriately to what they believed was a dangerous situation.

That car in the video sure looks red to me, not beige or tan. How appropriate is that!! That will sure help the next generation to grow up respecting law enforcement officers. Not!

This is bad. These cops need some retraining. And I have to wonder how good they are at their jobs and how the got their jobs in the first place? Dispatch tells them to look out for a tan Toyota occupied by 4 adult black males. So they stop a RED Nissan occupied by a female and small children. Wow! That is just bad. Maybe we should test applicants on the color wheel now.
