Former D.C. Officer Admits He Pimped Underage Girls

Retired D.C. officer Linwood Barnhill Jr. has admitted in federal court that he prostituted underage girls.

A former D.C. police officer admitted in federal court Friday that he forced underage teenagers to work as escorts out of his Southeast Washington apartment, but a judge expressed concern that the eight-year sentence negotiated by the prosecution and defense was too lenient.

Linwood Barnhill Jr., 48, who served on the force for 24 years and retired in advance of the hearing, pleaded guilty to two counts of pandering minors for prostitution and one count of possession of child pornography, the Washington Post reports.

The deal reached by the U.S. attorney’s office and Barnhill’s attorney is lower than the nine to 12 years federal sentencing guidelines recommend for the officer. U.S. District Judge Rosemary M. Collyer said she would agree to the negotiated sentence only after she learns more about Barnhill’s background.

If this scum did his pimping while on the DC force (and he did), his retirement should be seized. DC is such a classy place for all involved.

This POS committed a felony and should loss his retirement.

KevCopAz @ 6/23/2014 9:40 PM

what a POS! I agree when a cop commits a felony like this he should lose his pension, or the pennon goes to his wife and kids so they wont lose out and he goes to prison! D.C. has always been a real strange place to police (remember the "crack head Mayor who was re-elected) I would not be a cop there for love nor money between get to, crime, gun laws (which don't work) , diplomats, politicians and everyone else that think they are somebody, man what a hole to be the PO PO in! NO way! Cant wait for drug legalization to come to DC then the party will begin!

This is unexcusable. They should lock this asshole up and throw him in general poplulation. He deserves nothing less. This is just sickening.

Pup @ 6/24/2014 8:11 AM

Lock the POS up in GENERAL POPULATION!!! Reminder to cop haters. Not all of LE is like this POS. He's only one of few bad apples. Be safe!!
