Texas Officer Recovering from Weekend T-Stop Shooting

April 22, 2014  |

A Fredericksburg, Texas, police officer shot during a weekend traffic stop is out of ICU and expected to make a full recovery.

Officer Bradley Durst, 29, made the stop before 2 a.m. Saturday. As Durst approached the vehicle, investigators say Rober Rendon, 31, shot Durst in the neck and the abdomen.

Police caught Rendon two hours later near San Antonio, KXAN reports.

Rendon is in the Bexar County Jail charged with attempted capital murder. His bond is set at $750,000.

Nothing about 10 $0.65 cent bullets wouldn't of solved.

Rookie yes but there are too many cameras out there recording. I think if we just change back to the death penalty and hang some of these folks in the town square some people might think a little differently about what they do or want to do if they realize they are going to hang.
