19 People Arrested at University of Minnesota Riot

April 14, 2014  |

Police arrested 19 people following the Gophers’ hockey team 7-4 loss to Union College in the NCAA hockey finals, according to KSTP News.

Hundreds of people took to the street, with some throwing bottles and others were trying to flip a car, according to reports at the scene. Witnesses in the area told KSTP they ran from someone who threw a bench. Police said there were two known incidents of arson.

Mobile Field Force squads of the Minneapolis PD deployed to quell the disturbance. Police secured the intersection to make sure no cars would get through and to keep an eye on the situation, according to Chief Janeé Harteau, who was wearing riot gear.

"As things escalate and this crowd escalates, we're prepared to escalate as well," she said.

By 12:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, the area was cleared-out, and police reopened the streets of the neighborhood known as Dinkytown.

No officers were injured. There was an undetermined amount of property damage.

My hope is that LEOs can understand the difference between Degenerates who riot, and Law Abiding citizens who want the Gov. to follow the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. As I type, Harry Reid is plotting against The Bundy's, trying to do a land grab, for his cronies in NV. Anyone with a heart & soul don't become Nazis "following orders". Average people just want to be left alone, by the NSA, etc. They don't want to Rule with an iron fist and Manipulate others to gain powers of Emperors and Kings.

Our nation is broken, it won't be fixed by turning it into Red China. But we can try to save it, by standing up to Control Freaks. Who take Everyone's FREEDOM AWAY! Until they come to your house??
