NYPD Cracks Counterfeit Super Bowl Ticket Ring

January 30, 2014  |

The NYPD busted two men Monday on charges they were selling counterfeit Super Bowl tickets of such high quality that the fakes could have fooled the electronic scanners at the gates of MetLife Stadium, authorities said.

Arrested on charges of forgery, trademark counterfeiting and related offenses were Damon Daniels, 43, of the Bronx and Queens, as well as Eugene Fladger, 32, of Philadelphia, NYPD Lt. Christopher Fasano of the department's organized crime unit told Newsday.

Daniels and Fladger were nabbed in a monthlong undercover probe that began after police were tipped off by investigators for the NFL, Fasano said. New York cops made a number of purchases in recent weeks of fake tickets sold by the duo for recent NFL playoff games, investigators said.

NYC is a Sanctuary City why not focus on counterfeit SSN# and Illegal Alien identify theft? I guess it's much easier to project the fat cats who run the NFL than the average US citizen trying to make ends meet! This IS Fascism at it's finest! Our government is an Oligarchy that protects itself, and the well-connected! Look at Missouri, a state that voted down Public Money used for the new Cardinals stadium. But the crooked State politicians side-stepped the Will of the People using Back-Door tricks. No different from NYC. Just watch as people trying to get by will be made criminals, but those who don't abide by their own laws, like Obama who's not enrolled in Obamacare. Will be made to be Saints by the media! While more and more innocent people suffer because of greedy egocentric Ruling Class vultures!
