N.Y. Chief Faces Child Porn Charges

January 23, 2014  |

The head of a suburban New York police department was arrested on child pornography charges, officials said.

Brian Fanelli, who became the police chief of Mount Pleasant just three months ago and was still considered a provisional police chief, was taken into custody at his home in Mahopac on Thursday.

Members of the U.S. Homeland Security Special Investigations made the arrest, claiming that the Mount Pleasant top cop was “trafficking in child pornography,” town Supervisor Joan Maybury told the New York Daily News.

This guy should be shot. And don't give me that innocent until guilty. The Feds don't arrest a chief without their ducks in a row. And to think there are more of his ilk running around enforcing laws during the day and raping kids at night. Why are so many police corrupt now? Or is it just the Information Age that allows us to see how dirty the pigs are

Yooper I disagree, while a nice Russian pistol shot to the back of the head in a basement might be all the rage where you are this is America. Just because the guy has porn, child or otherwise on his computer doesn't mean that he put it there, investigate, then trial, if convicted then slam him.

Call me paranoid but I am seeing too many political assassinations both civilian LEO and higher ranking military to paint everything with a broad paint brush any longer.
