At SHOT Show this week, Original S.W.A.T. touted what it says is the next generation of law enforcement duty boots.

The Stockton, Calif.-based company’s new H.A.W.K. (High Agility Weight Kinetics) boots feature a new support system called Flex-Lite. Original S.W.A.T. sales rep Jason Riepert says Flex-Lite is a multi-layered support system that’s not based on an athletic shoe last like many contemporary boots.

The H.A.W.K. version of Flex-Lite consists of five elements: an outsole that offers excellent traction and slip resistance, a shock-absorbing EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate heel, a lightweight molded EVA midsole that is contoured to match the shape of a human foot for comfort on long shifts, an airport friendly molded stability board with corrugated ridges that provide torsional support through the heel and arch, and a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) cuff that protects the heel during dynamic foot movement.

H.A.W.K. boots are available in 9-inch side-zip versions with optional waterproofing. List price is $139.99 for the waterproof model and $119.99 for the standard.

Still awaiting for the delivery of my waterproof version of the SWAT boots, can’t wait to have them.

From the picture on the top, the shoe actually looks magnificent and deserves to be the next generation of duty boots! Army and law enforcement personnel will always prefer these tactical boots because of features like an outsole offering brilliant grip and slip-resistance. The design is just perfect for rough and risky surfaces!
