A San Antonio police officer was arrested Saturday and accused of raping a 19-year-old woman on the South Side early the day before. At a news conference Saturday, police said the officer has been accused of sexual assault before.

Jackie Len Neal, 40, was arrested on a charge of felony sexual assault, said Officer Javier Salazar, a Police Department spokesman. Neal was released on $20,000 bond.

Police said he will continue to receive pay, pending an indictment.

Neal is accused of handcuffing and raping a woman he pulled over while on duty around 2 a.m. Friday, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Boy this and "officer sprayed mace on woman's genitals", two lovely headlines from today. Why do some of you even bother with "swearing an oath"?

Mike Check @ 11/25/2013 3:03 PM

I don't know the officer, and I'm not defending him, but I guess you have convicted him already?

Trigger @ 11/26/2013 4:37 AM

Sad, sad situation, let the legal system resolve this.

LENNY IS A TOOL!

Lenny,

In almost 50 years on this earth I've learned two things. There are two sides to every story and every man deserves his day in court. If he did it, he needs to be put away for life (unfortunately SCOTUS stopped executions for rape), but that i for a court and jury to determine.

You can tell by Lennys comments he hates LEOs. Many people who wanted to be a Law Enforcement Officer but couldn't make it feel the same way you do Lenny! Its OK, seek professional help and move on with life. Remember, its alright to be a wannabe!!

According to the Chief of SAPD, there is a dash cam video. This should tell the tale. If he is guilty, he shall be punished. If he is not, it will be another case of a false accusation against an officer and the female will go unpunished.

Lenny you truly are ignorant, and a total moron. You really need to get out of your mothers basement and get a life. If he's guilty then screw him.

Capt. Crunch @ 11/26/2013 2:02 PM

Lenny, you don't kill all the dogs because one might have fleas.
