Two men in St. Paul, Minn., are accused of posing as police officers after two real officers on patrol stopped and arrested them, reports the Pioneer Press.

A man filed a complaint against Tommie Lee Jordan, 52, and Perry York, 47. He says the two first asked him for a cigarette, then one said he was a police officer and they both pushed him up against a wall and rummaged through his pockets before finding and taking his cigarettes.

But then two members of the St. Paul Police Department who were on patrol drove up and intervened.

Jordan and York are charged with robbery, but both men deny the charges. They are being held on bail.
