3 Arrested When Home Invasion Suspect Opens Door for Officer

October 15, 2013  |

Three home invasion suspects were arrested Monday after one of the men opened the front door and were men by a responding LAPD officer.

The men had entered the Pacoima home and demanded cash from a woman, who was in the house with her baby. The woman had called 911 before the masked men entered the home.

One the suspects opened the front door after hearing knocking thinking it was one of his accomplices. He was met by the officer. The suspect slammed the door and the three men attempted to flee, but were arrested following a manhunt, reports CBS Los Angeles.

I love it when criminals are that stupid.

Good job goes out to the officers but if the woman was able to call 911 BEFORE the masked men entered, couldn't she have also locked the door? Glad everyone was safe!
