Off-Duty Calif. Officer Shot With Own Gun

A driver remained at large after a confrontation with an off-duty La Habra (Calif.) Police officer where the man shot the officer in the arm with his own gun.

A confrontation between the two men happened on an off ramp of the Golden State (5) Freeway in Castaic before dawn on Saturday, reports NBC Los Angeles.

The officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to fully recover. The officer's gun has not been recovered.
