Va. Detective Dies of Heart Attack

A Richmond (Va.) Police
detective died Monday, after collapsing at the department, the agency announced on its Facebook page.
Detective LaMonte Tucker, 45, was a 16-year veteran assigned to the Youth and Family Crimes Unit. He had received numerous awards in his police career. He joined the agency as a Second Precinct patrol officer and specialized in narcotics investigations working with the Gang Unit.
Tucker leaves behind a wife and two children.
