Texas Cop Stops Zimmerman for Speeding

August 01, 2013  |

George Zimmerman informed a north Texas police officer that he was carrying a gun in his glove box after he was pulled over for speeding on Sunday.

The Forney Police officer stopped Zimmerman at about 12:47 p.m. as he was heading west on U.S. 80 about 20 miles east of Dallas. After telling the officer about the firearm, the officer instructed Zimmerman to close his glove box and said, "Don't play with your firearm, OK?"

Zimmerman told the officer he was heading "nowhere in particular." He was let go with a warning, reports NBC DFW.
