VIDEO: Mich. Cop Struck at Drive-Thru
A man later declared "super drunk" under Michigan law struck a Pittsfield Township Police officer at a restaurant drive-thru in February.
Police released dash-cam video of the incident from 1:38 p.m. on Valentine's Day to AnnArbor.com.
Robert Addie, 39, had a .25 blood-alcohol level when he swiped the officer while pulling out of a Burger King drive-thru. Police were called to the restaurant because Addie and another man in a 2003 Ford Taurus were causing a disturbance.
Addie was sentenced to 2-5 years of prison last week. Addie had four previous drunk-driving convictions.
