Masturbating Suspect Injures Officer In Pursuit

June 10, 2013  |

When officers attempted to arrest a suspect for masturbating in public, the man struck and injured an Upper Darby Police officer while attempting to flee.

Officers encountered Charles Dockery, 36, at 69th Street near Walnut on June 4. He was exposing himself to passersby, who called 911, reports Philly.com.

Dockery jumped in his car when confronted by officers and attempted to flee, striking the officer and a parked car. He was arrested after a short foot pursuit.
