Naked Fla. Man TASERed While 'Proposing Marriage'

June 06, 2013  |

Casselberry (Fla.) Police officers TASERed a 22-year-old man after he knocked on a door, stripped naked, and spat on an officer's face.

Thomas Edwards told responding officers he came to the house to propose marriage to his girlfriend, who had told him to strip naked. Edwards, who said his name was "Zim," was completely naked at 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning when officers encountered him.

Edwards told officers he wanted to go to jail and threatened to head-butt an officer. When he spat in the officer's face, another officer deployed his TASER, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
