Houston Cop Killer Put To Death

May 16, 2013  |

A man who killed a Houston Police officer 14 years ago received a lethal injection Wednesday evening after his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court failed.

Jeffrey Demond Williams, 37, gave a brief, angry statement before the death penalty was carried out, saying, "You clown police ... Y'all are getting away with murder all the time. When I kill one or pop one, y'all want to kill me."

Williams fatally shot Houston Police Officer Troy Blando while the officer was handcuffing him on May 19, 1999. Williams shot the 39-year-old officer with a gun he had tucked in his shirt. He was stopped while driving a stolen Lexus, reports the Associated Press.

Took too damn long! This pos should have been pinned years ago. I'm glad Officer Blandos' family-Blues included- now have a little bit of closure. Blues, Stay Safe.

Thanks Texas, you've done the right thing. Just took too long, you supported the bastard long enough, it could have been done quicker, and save tax payers money! It appears he was a POS , to the end any way, no redeemable value except as fertilizer!! LEOs stay safe, and thanks for what you do everyday!!!!

Ya'll ever hear this quote?? "Don't mess with Texas" Well this is one reason for that saying. It took to long, cost way to much money, and we fed and housed this POS for all those years. This could have been taken care of many years ago. When they finally caught him all it would have taken was for one cop to shoot this pile of trash. Problem solved. Texans shoot and kill perps all the time, and go mostly free from harm while the perp goes straight to Hell. If this were more common the crime rates would become insignificant, that is why we have the Second Amendment. If you are to wimpy, or cowardly to protect your family, neighbors, and community, then you deserve what you get. Deal with it!!!
