Brian Allen Tucker and John Marlin King were returned to the Hopkins County Jail located about 75 miles northeast of Dallas where they escaped Tuesday. Tucker is awaiting a capital murder trial for strangling a man with shoelaces. King is a convicted drug offender.

An associate of Tucker and King had attempted to pawn jewelry stolen by the two men. The pawn shop's clerk alerted Delta County Sheriff's deputies, who questioned the associate. The associate led the deputies back to Tucker and King, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
