April 03, 2013  |

Two Detroit Police officers were wounded Tuesday evening, when a murder suspect opened fire from inside a vehicle.

A sergeant and officer had stopped a vehicle being driven by the suspect. A police source inside the car yelled, "He's got a gun."

Rounds from the suspect struck the sergeant in the leg and the officer in the head. The officer remains in critical condition. The officers returned fire, killing the suspect, reports the Detroit Free-Press.
