Anti-Authority Suspect Opens Fire on Ohio Cops
March 13, 2013

An Ohio man who opened fire on two Middlefield Police officers who returned fire and killed him "just didn't like authority," his attorney told the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Officers Brandon Savage and Erin Thomas pulled over James Gilkerson shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday. Gilkerson opened fire on the officers with a semi-automatic rifle before they could exit their cruiser. The officers returned fire, killing Gilkerson.
Thomas suffered serious injuries to her left hand. She also suffered a gunshot wound to her left thigh. Savage suffered minor injuries to his left knee from flying fragments of the police car.

Unfortunately there is a large group of "Militia Men" in Ohio that do not accept the Authority or Laws of the United States of America. They make their own "legal" papers and license plates. That plate is usually the reason they are pulled over by Police since it is not a real or legal license plate. The Militia Men groups are known by hundreds of different names and they are extremely aggressive toward any kind of official legal authority. There is a large group of Militia Men around Frazeyburg, Ohio that have engaged the Police in armed conflict for decades. These people tend to entice the Police into pulling them over just to ambush the Police Officer. These groups are nutball crazy, extremely dangerous and very well armed. I hope both officers recover quickly and are able to return to duty ASAP.
