Ohio Judge Again Orders 'Idiot' Sign on Defendant

March 06, 2013  |

An Ohio judge who made a woman wear an "idiot" sign for driving on a sidewalk around a school bus has ordered similar punishment for a man convicted of threatening police officers.

Richard Dameron, 58, must serve 90 days in jail and stand in front of a district police station with a sign saying, "I was being an idiot and it will never happen again," reports the Associated Press.

Dameron was convicted of making threatening 911 calls to Cleveland Police officers.

Passing a school bus in Ohio is a very serious offense. I hope she was at least convicted of the offense. As far as the Judge's orders, it's Cleveland and this is normal for them.
