Off-Duty Detroit Sgt. Shoots Carjacker

An off-duty Detroit Police sergeant shot a 19-year-old carjacker who pointed a gun at the officer late Monday.
Sgt. Eren Stephens exited his vehicle at about 11:50 p.m. and noticed an SUV blocking him and three suspects. One of the men pointed a gun at the sergeant and demanded the keys.
Sgt. Stephens fired at the man, striking him. The three suspects then fled, reports the Detroit News.

Ok so we have armed robbery with a firearm and we terminated the threat. This is why WE are the POLICE! To protect everybody including ourselves from the criminal element!

Good job to the Sgt. glad to hear he's ok. Too bad the shitbag didn't expire. But I doubt that'll stop him. He'll get another oppurtunity.
