Off-Duty Detroit Sgt. Shoots Carjacker

November 14, 2012  |

An off-duty Detroit Police sergeant shot a 19-year-old carjacker who pointed a gun at the officer late Monday.

Sgt. Eren Stephens exited his vehicle at about 11:50 p.m. and noticed an SUV blocking him and three suspects. One of the men pointed a gun at the sergeant and demanded the keys.

Sgt. Stephens fired at the man, striking him. The three suspects then fled, reports the Detroit News.

Good job to the Sgt. glad to hear he's ok. Too bad the shitbag didn't expire. But I doubt that'll stop him. He'll get another oppurtunity.
