Georgia C.O. Fatally Stabbed By Inmate

A Georgia corrections officer was fatally stabbed by an inmate late Thursday, reports WMGT.

Officer Larry Stell, 46, was assaulted by an inmate and died as a result of the attack, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Officer Stell has been with the department since August 2001.
