San Jose Cop To Chief: 'I'm Gay'
October 10, 2012
San Jose (Calif.) Police officer John Reinert picked an opportune moment to tell his chief a secret he'd been keeping for half a century. Following L-G-B-T sensitivity training, Reinert delivered his message.
"Finally I said, chief, after that session on the 25th, I'm gay too," he told KLFY.
Chief Chris Moore released a memo on Monday promoting National Coming Out Day, saying that, "stress and anguish can result from hiding a person's sexual orientation and the department encourages members to be who they are."

Is California the place for government to force political viewpoints down your throat? Oh yea that's right. It is! How is this a news story. Who cares. Cops and firefighters tell people including chiefs their gay all the time.
