3 Killed In Ala. SUV Pursuit

A man, woman and child were killed Monday when a suspect fleeing from Birmingham (Ala.) Police in an SUV crashed into their car.
The chase stemmed from a Walker County robbery and came into west Birmingham. The accident occurred on Birmingport Road. A child younger than 2 was killed.
A Jefferson County deputy also crashed as he attempted to join the chase. The deputy's vehicle ran into a ditch and overturned. He was taken to a hospital, reports AL.com.
