N.M. State Officer Suffers Heart Attack at Scene

The New Mexico Motor Transportation officer died Thursday, after suffering a major heart attack while working an accident scene.
Officer Robert Potter, who was assigned to the K-9 unit, collapsed while he was working a tractor-trailer crash scene on Interstate 10 near Vado, reports ODMP.
Officer Potter was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces where he died.
