LE Appreciation Day Set for Sept. 15 at Calif. Speedway

August 17, 2012  |

Discounted ticket packages for law enforcement officers are now available for the IZOD IndyCar series race on Sept. 15 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.

The ticket includes a donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF). Prior to the race, the Auto Club Speedway will host Law Enforcement Appreciation events around the speedway.

Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies will be on hand with interactive awareness simulations, police vehicles, tactical equipment, aircraft, and vendors. The event starts at 5:50 p.m.

The $99 ticket package includes upper reserved grandstand tickets (rows 24-48); a pit and paddock pass; buffet-style food, soda, water, and beer; a donation to the Memorial Fund of at least $20 per ticket; and a commemorative Auto Club Speedway and NLEOMF challenge coin.

Tickets are available at the Auto Club Speedway website. The offer expires on Sept. 7.
