Suspect Turned TASER On R.I. Trooper

A Rhode Island trooper arrested a subject who used the officer's TASER on her during a physical confrontation after a foot pursuit on Thursday, reports the Dover Post.

The incident began around 9:40 a.m., when troopers responded to the 2000 block of Chestnut Grove Road in Dover, after a report of a suspicious subject at the property.

A trooper spotted Hughie Cooper who matched the subject's description near the Maple Dale Golf Course and initiated a foot pursuit after Cooper ran from the trooper.
