Man Charged In Ala. Cop's 2002 Slaying

Birmingham (Ala.) Police this afternoon announced they have filed charges against a man in the 2002 shooting death of Birmingham Police Officer Joseph Jerome Daniels.

Adam Bradford, 31, who is serving time in the St. Clair Correctional Facility on unrelated charges, was charged Wednesday with capital murder in the shooting death of Daniels, said cold case Detective Jody Jacobs.

Tom @ 7/27/2012 8:30 PM I'm so glad that there is finally closure in this horrible case. There is nothing worse than a cold case when an officer goes down. Now it's time for Alabama to do the right thing and execute this scumbag. I think that since 10 years has already passed since this murder that the criminal should be executed in the next couple of years if not tomorrow if it was up to me.
