Philly Cop Struck, Killed After Argument

An off-duty Philadelphia police officer was struck and killed on his bicycle late Sunday by a driver after an argument between the two men.
Officer Marc Brady, 32, an eight-year veteran of the force assigned to the 22nd District in North Philadelphia, was hit about 11:40 p.m. while riding his bike at Musgrave Street and East Meehan Avenue. He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m. today, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Police arrested Kareem Alleyne, 35, and charged him with homicide by vehicle and voluntary manslaughter. Alleyne is the boyfriend of Brady's former girlfriend.
