Man Charged In Va. Cop's 2010 Slaying

Virginia Beach Police have charged a serial armed robber with first-degree murder in the death of an off-duty Norfolk officer.

Virginia Beach Police have charged a serial armed robber with first-degree murder in the death of an off-duty Norfolk officer.

Raymond Lewis Perry, 20, has been charged with first degree murder, armed robbery and two counts of use of a firearm. Police believe Perry killed Norfolk Police Department Officer Victor Decker. The decorated officer was found dead by the side of a road in October 2010.

Perry was sentenced in fall 2011, at 19 years old, for his role in five armed robberies spanning two weeks.
