Mass. Trooper Talks Man Off Bridge

A Massachusetts State Police trooper is being credited with convincing a suicidal man not to jump off the Memorial Bridge in Springfield on Monday.
Trooper Michael Chapdelaine, who was the first to respond to the scene, was able to get the man to agree to seek medical treatment rather than committing suicide, reports MassLive.com.
