Armor Express Introduces Razor Level II Body Armor

Armor Express has introduced its Razor Level II (Model RZR-B-II) body armor the company is calling its "lightest weight and thinnest body armor system ever."

The Razor is built with innovative fabric technologies from Dupont and DSM, and is just 0.18 inches thin and 0.81 pounds per square foot at Level II. The Razor comes standard with a Revolution concealable carrier, which offers maximum comfort, breathability and durability, according to the company.

The Razor also comes standard with a 5-x-8-inch Ara-Shock ICW armor plate. The Ara-Shock ICW is a 100% Aramid semi-rigid armor plate with a Rhino lining cover. It weighs only 0.36 pounds and provides Level IIIA performance when used in conjunction with Level IIA or II soft armor.

The Razor is made from a proprietary blend of cutting-edge Kevlar and Dyneema fabrics stitched together utilizing Armor Express' Comfort Craft manufacturing process. The Razor is certified from NIJ size templates C1 to C5.
