Authorities are warning motorists about a possible police imposter who may be pulling over motorists in northern Mississippi and killing them.
State investigators warning motorists to dial 911 if they believe they're being pulled over by a police imposter, reports WREG. Two roadway homicides may be connected because both vehicles were found pulled over along state highways, according to authorities. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and FBI are leading the investigation.
On May 8, 74-year-old Tom Schlender was shot to death while riding along Interstate 55 near Pope. On May 11, Lori Carswell was found dead on Highway 713, just north of Highway 3.

There are a lot of Cop-wantobees out there. This could be the work of a delusioned, or rejected applicant. Most Departments and the DOJ don't keep ststistics on rejected applicants. I believe that we should have a standard application process, across the states.
