Pelican Products Wins Corporation of the Year Award

April 19, 2012  |

Pelican Products has been recognized by the National Institute of Packaging, Handling, and Logistics Engineers (NIPHLE) with the 2011 Corporation of the Year Award. The award honors Pelican as an industry leader with exemplary performance in packaging, handling, and logistics through innovative and creative solutions.

"Pelican-Hardigg's Advanced Case Solutions engineering support team have been designing tough, dependable and innovative protective case solutions to the transportation industry for more than 50 years," said Lyndon Faulkner, Pelican Products, Inc. President and CEO. "This award formally recognizes all the team work that has gone into providing our customers with the highest quality products and services in the industry."

A major contributor to Pelican's award is their Pelican-Hardigg Advanced Case Solution services which offer extremely customized, reusable, protective packaging solutions for almost any sensitive technology. Their capabilities include high-end CAD design, metal deck work, g-force-rated shock mount systems, advanced foam cushioning and fabricated frame systems. For geographic convenience, there are several regional Advanced Case Centers located in California, Massachusetts, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Canada, France, the United Kingdom and Australia.

NIPHLE is an assemblage of professionals whose interests in the complex and diverse practice of distribution and logistics is a common bond. Formed in 1956, the Institute was constituted with the objective of improving communication between practitioners in these related areas.
