Agitated Porn Actor Dies After LAPD Cops Subdue Him

April 17, 2012  |

Nearly eight Los Angeles Police officers were needed to subdue an agitated porn actor who broke free from an ambulance gurney and attacked paramedics.

Marland Anderson, known as Sledge Hammer, later died as a result of the altercation with police officers. The April 8 incident began when officers responded to an attempted suicide call at Anderson's Reseda home.

Anderson, who had been handcuffed for transportation in the ambulance, broke free from a gurney and broke the handcuff. The ambulance pulled over and backup officers responded to take the muscular, 6-foot-1 Anderson into custody, reports the Los Angeles Times.
