Celebrities Host Mumia Abu-Jamal Birthday Party
April 11, 2012
|
Celebrities and activists will call for the release of Mumia Abu-Jamal during an Occupy-style protest later this month marking the cop killer's 58th birthday.
Actor Danny Glover and rapper M-1 of Dead Prez will be joined by activists Frances Fox Piven and Norman Finkelstein to engage in acts of civil disobedience, according to a post on the Democratic Underground website.
Organizers say they have requested a meeting with Attorney General Eric Holder to discuss "systemic police corruption and civil rights violations in Abu-Jamal's case."
Abu-Jamal was given the death penalty in 1982, after his conviction for killing Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner. He was removed from Death Row in January, after an appellate court vacated the death sentence. Earlier this month, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court denied his latest appeal to overturn the murder conviction.

He. Murdered.Someone. Not a difficult concept to grasp - a police officer, just doing his job, was murdered point blank. Read the transcripts, you Hollywood idiots. Hopefully karma will catch up with this POS and stop all this rubbish. Sympathy to Mrs Faulkner again.

Several independent witnesses, including Mumia Abu-Jamal's (aka: Wesley Cook) brother, saw Abu-Jamal murder Daniel Faulkner. Has our justice system regressed to the point that a few pseudo-celebrities can do a reverse “Dancing with the Stars” act and vote a convicted murderer out of prison?
Of course our esteemed Attorney General, Eric Holder, will clear this all up (Please note the sarcasm).

This gets more disgusting every time Hollywood gets involved. I think Holder might want to worry more about his job ("gun-running") than to try and get off a convicted cop killer. It will be interesting if Holder gives them the time of day. Another reason to vote Obama out! God Bless the Faulkner family.

I'm actually floored that people like Danny Glover and other celebs would support a scumbag like him. But its America we all have our rights maybe Glover will meet up with a scumbag like him someday. We need a Federal law on the books for killing LEO's. Today another LEO from Greenland ,NH PD loses his life one week before retirement serving a warrant. I want a death sentence!!! We need to push this all the way. Enough of this when will the people of this country wake the hell up?

President Obama recently expressed his concern over the Martin shooting. When has he expressed any concern over slain officers irrespective of their skin color? He does, however, love to hang out with the liberal hollywood crowd. Could it be, that he shares their ideology? Then there is Attorney General Holder who is the biggest disgrace to his office in memory.
