'Obama Fanatic' Threatened To Kill Sheriff Arpaio

March 15, 2012  |

A Tennessee man who threatened to put "a thousand bullet holes" in Maricopa County (Ariz.) Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been sentenced to supervised probation for the online threat.

Sheriff Arpaio said Adam Eugene Cox, 33, was an "Obama fanatic" who wrote online that Satan "ordered" him to kill "birthers" to spark a war between political parties in order to decrease the population in America.

Cox wrote that Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his family would be killed. He wrote, "I plan to kill Arpaio first. He will be filled with a thousand bullet holes before the year is out. I promise you this. He won't f**k with Obama. He will be buried 10 feet under and his whole family will be murdered along with him."

Arpaio's ongoing investigation into the legitimacy of Obama's birth certificate may be behind the threat to kill the Sheriff, according to a release from Sheriff Arpaio.

"Every threat will be taken seriously, and the Sheriff knows that his position often attracts threats but he draws the line when his family is threatened," Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputy Chief David Trombi said in a release.

Apparently it was not a big deal: A Tennessee man who threatened to put "a thousand bullet holes" in Maricopa County (Ariz.) Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been sentenced to supervised probation for the online threat. Oh good.

Oh, those liberals.....they take everything soooo seriously.

"Supervised probation"? Wonder what he would have got if he threatened Eric Holder with death? Firing squad? Five life terms? 50 lashes?

Scott from Florida @ 3/16/2012 4:30 PM

Probation for a death threat against a public official. That will stop him. Nothing like the threat of jail time to deter a would be murderer........ (Insert Sarcasm here). I wonder why I never saw this story on the nightly news...... Then again, why would the MSM even report this, they're too busy calling the Tea Party members terrorists..

Simply amazing that he has been released on probation! This nutcase is a walking time-bomb who is a serious threat to any and all Conservative people in this nation but he is allowed to walk among us and say what he wants as long as he doesn't really kill us? Charlie Manson has never threatened to kill me but I don't want him walking around either! This is insane. They need to lock this guy up for the criminally insane!

Curious how none of the threats against Obama make national news - of which there are hundreds every month. SEE VILETWEETS.COM

But my one time drunken threat is a scandal. Double standards much?
